Superintendent's Message

Spring 2024

Thank you, Arlington voters!

Dear Arlington families,

As you know, we ran Propositions 1, 2 and 3 in the Feb. 13 election. The results show the Educational Programs and Operations and Capital Levies have passed, while the Post Middle School Bond did not reach the necessary, high threshold of 60 percent.

We want to thank our community for their support and coming out to vote. Your support of our students, staff, and schools is appreciated.

I would like to thank the Facilities Advisory Committee that helped develop these measures, making recommendations based on the community’s priorities. I would also like to thank our staff and the Arlington School Board for ensuring the district developed measures that provide our students with educational opportunities districtwide. Finally, I would also like to thank the Citizens Committee for Arlington Schools for volunteering their time to help ensure our community understood the importance of these measures.
We are thrilled and grateful that propositions 1 and 2 have passed. We will keep the community updated on our next steps regarding the Post Middle School Bond. If you would like to learn more about the three measures, please go to the following link.
