2021-22 School Year Meal Service

No cost meals through 2021-22 school year

Meals are provided to all enrolled students at no charge for the entire 2021-22 school year.

Families should still apply for Free or Reduced Priced Meals to be eligible for Fee Waivers, P-EBT benefits and for grant funds.

P-EBT Information

Pandemic EBT, or P-EBT, is a program that provides food benefits to children who had limited onsite meals at their school or child care center due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The P-EBT benefits help Washington families affected by these closures to buy food during the 2020-21 school year.

In Washington state, DSHS received federal approval to provide students P-EBT benefits for the 2020-21 school year, in collaboration with the Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction.

Please follow this link for detailed information on the P-EBT.

STUDENT ACCOUNTS
Families of students should also check their student’s meal account balance. You can add money to your student’s account anytime. To do this, you may either send money in to the school office or directly deposit money in your student’s account through Family Access. Money in your account rolls over into the next school year as long as your student stays in Arlington Public Schools.

If your student’s account has a negative balance, please pay the balance before school begins in September.

If you have money on your student account that you would like to transfer to a sibling, need to request a refund, or want to donate to another student’s meal account, contact Lori Ginney in the district’s Child Nutrition Department at [email protected].
